Chamucos Tequila Reposado 750mL

    Description

    Description

Originally created as a private gift for friends by a Mexican film director and an artist, Chamucos Tequila Reposado has grown into a cult favorite known for its exceptional purity and character. This Highland tequila is crafted from organic, estate grown agave that is slow roasted in traditional masonry ovens and fermented to the soothing sounds of classical music. The spirit rests for seven months in re-charred oak barrels, which is much longer than the industry standard, resulting in a complex profile that punches well above its weight. It is an artisanal experience from the inside out, even featuring hand-folded packaging made from recycled materials.

    Tasting Notes

    • Nose: A base of sweet, slow-cooked agave balanced by citrus zest, floral notes, and a hint of vanilla bean.

    • Flavor: Silky and creamy on the palate with layers of butterscotch, tropical pineapple, and a touch of cinnamon spice.

    • Finish: Clean and lingering with a warm blend of spicy agave and a dry, cocoa-like elegance.

    Details

    • Region: Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico

    • Scores: 95 points - The Tasting Panel Magazine (2018), 92 points - Wine Enthusiast (2017)
