Description
Tasting Notes: This is how the Laphroaig tastes 10 years
Aroma: too Immediately powerful with lots of smoke and peat, plus spicy aromas and liquorice, slightly salty - you can tell the proximity to the sea - burnt, damp wood in the background
Flavor: now clearly seaweed and lots of oak, then intense phenols and iodine, reminiscent of a first-aid kit with plasters and gauze bandages, some old leather - then becoming spicier with notes of black pepper and cardamom
Finish: long finish, again peat and iodine - some tar and damp wood
